JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. — Some of our country’s bravest men and women gathered to watch the Sixers practice at the McGuire Air Force Base fitness center on Tuesday.
The Sixers have launched a new Stars & Stripes program honoring members of the military. Friday night is Military Appreciation Night at the Wells Fargo Center when the Sixers host the Chicago Bulls.
Tuesday, the Sixers provided entertainment with scrimmages and shooting drills. The players and coaches also signed autographs, took pictures with individuals and interacted with the service men and women.
