In 2021, Joseph Blair become an Assistant Coach for the Washington Wizards. Coach Blair was born in Akron, Ohio and played for and graduated from University of Arizona. He was drafted 35^th overall by the SuperSonics the 1996 NBA Draft. He had a 14-year professional playing career with stops in France, the USBL, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Russia; he also played with the Harlem Globetrotters.
