In 2023, Jay Hernandez became an Assistant Coach for the Brooklyn Nets. He was born in Long Island, New York and attended and played at the University of New Hampshire. Coach Hernandez went on to attend and play at Hofstra University, where he received a master’s degree in marketing and management. He went on to play professionally in Puerto Rico.
