JOSEPH BLAIR
HOUSTON ROCKETS ASSISTANT COACH
In 2025, Joseph Blair became an Assistant Coach for the Houston Rockets. He was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from University of Arizona, where he received his bachelor’s degree in general studies with an emphasis on social behavior and human understanding and a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration. He was drafted 35th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics and had a 13-year playing career, with stops in Russia, Italy, Turkey, Greece, and France.
