In 2024, Corey Brewer became an Assistant Coach for the New Orleans Pelicans. Coach Brewer was born in Portland, Tennessee and played for and graduated from the University of Florida. He was drafted 7^th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and had a 13-year NBA playing career, with stops in Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, and Sacramento. Coach Brewer and his wife, Monique, have two children.
