Great work by Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press in highlighting the collaboration between the NBA, NBA Coaches, and NBA Referees to invite officials to call fouls and violations during team scrimmages this preseason. Not only will this allow players and coaches to better understand the referees’ points of emphasis heading into the season, but this will also allow the players, coaches, and referees to continue to build relationships off-the-court and away from the stressful season environment.
