In 2021, Jannero Pargo became an Assistant Coach for the Indiana Pacers. Coach Pargo was born in Chicago, Illinois and played for and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He had a 15-year NBA and professional player career with stops in Los Angeles (Lakers), Toronto, Chicago, New Orleans/Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Washington, Charlotte, the ABA, the NBA G-League, as well as overseas in Russia, and Greece. Coach Pargo has one son (Jannero Jr.).
