In 2020, Dahntay Jones became an Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Clippers. Coach Jones was born in Trenton, New Jersey and played his first two years of college at Rutgers University – in his final two years he played for and graduated from Duke University. Jones was drafted 20^th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics and had a 14-year NBA and professional playing career, with stops in Memphis, Sacramento, Denver, Indiana, Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles (Clippers), Cleveland, and the NBA G League. Coach Jones and his wife, Valeisha, have one child (Tanner).
