In 2019, Mike Wilks became an Assistant Coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Coach Wilks was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and played for and graduated from Rice University. He had a ten-year NBA and professional playing career, with stops in the Atlanta, Minnesota, Houston, San Antonio, Cleveland, Seattle, Denver, Washington, Orlando, Memphis, and Oklahoma City, as well as overseas in Italy and Poland. Coach Wilks has two children (Isaiah & Josiah).
