In 2021, Darius Songaila became an Assistant Coach for the San Antonio Spurs. Coach Songaila was born in Lithuania and played for and graduated from Wake Forest University. He was selected 50^th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics and had a 13-year NBA and professional playing career, Sacramento, Chicago, Washington, New Orleans, Philadelphia, as well as overseas in Russia, Turkey, Spain, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Coach Songaila has one child (Meile).
