In 2019, Dean Oliver became an Assistant Coach for the Washington Wizards. Coach Oliver was born in Monmouth, Illinois and played for and graduated from Cal Tech with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He later received his PhD in environment engineering from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
