BRIAN SHAW

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS ASSISTANT COACH

In 2021, Brian Shaw became an Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Clippers. Coach Shaw was born in Oakland, California and played his first two years of college basketball at Saint Mary’s College – in his final two seasons he played for and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Shaw was drafted 24th overall in the 1988 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics and had a 15-year NBA playing career, with stops in Boston, Miami, Orlando, Golden State, Philadelphia, Portland, and Los Angeles (Clippers). Coach Shaw and his wife, Nikki, have three children.
