Congratulations to San Antonio Spurs Assistant Coach Becky Hammon on becoming the NBA’s first female coach to be designated as a Head Coach in a game. Great work by Dave McMenamin of ESPN in covering this monumental moment in NBA history – several peers including Head Coaches Gregg Popovich and Frank Vogel as well as league superstars LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Ja Morant headlined the outpouring of respect for Coach Hammon on this accomplishment.
