Entering the NBA coaching profession in the segregated 1960’s, Coach Russell paved the way for countless minority coaches, as reflected in today’s NBA. As we enter the NBA’s 75th season, the NBCA honors Bill Russell and his legacy left on the next generation of NBA Coaches.
