In 2024, Corey Brewer became an Assistant Coach for the New Orleans Pelicans. He was born in Portland, Tennessee and attended and played at the University of Florida. Coach Brewer was selected seventh overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2007 NBA Draft and went on to also play for the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, and Sacramento Kings.
