Listen to Jorge Sedano spotlight the tremendous importance of the NBA Assistant Coaches in charge of game day technology and providing the Head Coach with split second information on challengeable plays. These coaches, sometimes referred to as the “i-Pad Coaches,” play a critical role as they must quickly review a play and determine, within seconds, to recommend to the Head Coach whether a call should be challenged.
This is a great reminder that success in the NBA is not only defined by what happens on the court but also the preparation, analysis, and sharp decision-making happening behind the scenes.
