In 2023, James Borrego became an Assistant Coach for the New Orleans Pelicans. Coach Borrego was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and played for and graduated from the University of San Diego, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English and master’s degree in leadership studies. Coach Borrego and his wife, Megan, have three children (Grace, Nicholas & Zachary).
