In 2023, Jawad Williams became and Assistant Coach for the Sacramento Kings. Coach Williams was born in Cleveland, Ohio and played for and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Williams had a 17-year professional playing career with stops in Cleveland, the NBA D-League (Fayetteville & Rio Grande Valley), as well as overseas in Spain, Israel, Japan, France, Turkey, Greece and Italy.
