In 2021, Jerome Allen became an Assistant Coach for the Detroit Pistons. Coach Allen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and played for and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Allen was drafted 49^th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and had a 14-year NBA and professional playing career, with stops in Minnesota, Indiana, Denver, as well as oversees in France, Italy, Greece, Spain, and Turkey. Coach Allen and his wife Aida have four children (Jerome Jr., Taylor, Jordyn, & Roman).
