Jordan Ott is the Head Coach of the Phoenix Suns. On June 6th, 2025, Ott became the 23rd Head Coach* in Suns history.

Prior to joining the Suns, Coach Ott was an Assistant Coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers under Coach Kenny Atkinson (2024-2025), where he helped the team reach an NBA Playoff berth. Prior to joining the Cavaliers, he was an Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Lakers under Coach Darvin Ham (2022-2024), where he helped the team to reach two NBA Playoff berths and an NBA Conference Finals appearance (2023). Prior to joining the Lakers, Coach Ott was also an Assistant Coach for the Brooklyn Nets under Head Coaches Kenny Atkinson (2016-2019), Jacque Vaughn (2019-2020), and Steve Nash (2020-2022), where he helped the team reach four NBA Playoff berths (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022). Prior to joining the Nets, he was a Video Coordinator for the Atlanta Hawks under Coach Mike Budenholzer (2013-2016), where he helped the team reach three NBA Playoff berths and an NBA Conference Finals appearance (2015).

Jordan Ott was born on March 1, 1985, in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Penn State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in sports management. Coach Ott went on to Michigan State University, where he received a master’s degree in athletic administration. Prior to his NBA coaching career, he was an Assistant Coach for the Dominican Republic National Team in the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship.
