JOSEPH BLAIR

HOUSTON ROCKETS ASSISTANT COACH

In 2024, Joseph Blair became an Assistant Coach for the Houston Rockets. He was born in Akron, Ohio and attended and played at University of Arizona, where he received a bachelor’s degree in general studies with an emphasis on social behavior and human understanding and a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration. Coach Blair was selected in the second round by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1996 NBA Draft and went on to play professionally overseas in Russia, Italy, Turkey, Greece, and France.
