In 2024, Kevin Burleson became an Assistant Coach for the Detroit Pistons. Coach Burleson was born in Seattle, Washington and played for and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He had a 10-year professional playing career with stops in Charlotte, the NBA D League, Germany, Turkey, Romania, and Egypt. His brother is former NFL wide receiver, Nate Burleson.
