In 2019, Malik Allen became an Assistant Coach for the Miami Heat. Coach Allen was born in Willingboro Township, New Jersey and played for and graduated from Villanova University. He had an 11-year NBA playing career with stops in Miami, Charlotte, Chicago, New Jersey, Dallas, Milwaukee, Denver, and Orlando. Coach Allen and his wife, Kara, have two children (Dante & Maya).
