In 2019, Malik Allen became an Assistant Coach for the Miami Heat. He was born in Willingboro Township, New Jersey and attended and played at Villanova University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in communications. Coach Allen went on to play for the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, and ABA.
