In 2023, Mike Brey became an Assistant Coach for the Atlanta Hawks. Coach Brey was born in Bethesda, Maryland and first played for Northwestern State University and finished at George Washington University, where he earned his degree in physical education. Coach Brey has two children (Kyle & Callie).
