The membership of the National Basketball Coaches Association joins the NBA family in mourning the passing of longtime NBA and WNBA Head and Assistant Coach Richie Adubato. Adubato’s coaching career spanned more than two decades with the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, New York Liberty, and the Washington Mystic.
Coach Adubato will be remembered not only as a Coach, but also as a mentor to so many in the basketball community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Adubato family during this difficult time.
