COACHING IMPACT
– Coach Rothstein’s contributions to basketball cannot be mentioned without the enormous role he has played in shaping the next generation of NBA players and coaches. Coach Rothstein’s impact extends to Dominique Wilkins, Brendan Suhr, Doc Rivers, Spud Webb, Chuck Daly, Dennis Rodman, Isiah Thomas, Glen Rice, Shawn Kemp, Earl Boykins, Reggie Miller, Jermaine O’Neal, Rick Carlisle, Alonzo Mourning, Stan Van Gundy, Erik Spoelstra, Dwayne Wade, Lamar Odom, Christian Laettner, Shaquille O’Neal, Gary Payton, Jason Williams, Mike Bibby, Chris Bosh, Lebron James, Jerry Stackhouse, Shane Battier, and Ray Allen.

AREA OF EXPERTISE/OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
– Coach Rothstein has served as a head coach twice in the NBA, an assistant coach with five different franchises, as a regional scout with three teams, and also spent one season as an NBA television analyst.
– During Coach Rothstein’s 21 years on an NBA bench his teams have captured an NBA Title, five Divisional Championships, made 13 postseason appearances, highlighted by five Eastern Conference Finals appearances, two Eastern Conference championships and two NBA Finals appearances.
– Coach Rothstein was a three-year starter on the University of Rhode Island basketball team and captain of the 1963-64 squad that finished 19-7 and tied Connecticut for the Conference Championship.
