In 2024, Ronnie Burrell became an Assistant Coach for the Portland Trail Blazers. Coach Burrell was born in Livingston, New Jersey and played for and graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Burrell had an 11-year professional playing career with stops in France, Germany, and Poland. He was the Head Coach of the Nets G-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, in the 2022-23 season.
