ROY ROGERS

PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS ASSISTANT COACH

In 2021, Roy Rogers became an Assistant Coach for the Portland Trail Blazers. Coach Rogers was born in Linden, Alabama and played for and graduated from the University of Alabama. He was selected 22nd overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies. He had an eight-year NBA and professional playing career, with stops in Vancouver, Toronto, Denver, the ABA, as well as overseas in Russia, Italy, and Poland. Coach Rogers and his wife, Patricia, have four children (Jasmine, Jordan, Saige, & Sebastian).
