SAM CASSELL

In 2020, Sam Cassell became an Assistant Coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. Cassell was born in Baltimore, Maryland and played for Florida State University. He was selected 24th overall in 1993 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets and had a 15-year NBA playing career, with stops in Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee Minnesota, Los Angeles (Clippers), and Boston. Coach Cassell and his wife, Tonya, have one child (Sam Jr.).
