In 2023, Sanjay Lumpkin became an Assistant Coach for the Atlanta Hawks. He was born in Wayzata, Minnesota and attended and played at Northwestern University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in learning and organizational change and a master’s degree in sports administration. Coach Lumpkin went on to play in the NBA G League.
