In 2024, Scott Brooks became an Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. Coach Brooks was born in French Champ, California and played for and graduated from University of California (Irvine). He had a 10-year NBA and professional playing career, with stops in Philadelphia, Minnesota, Houston, Dallas, New York, Cleveland, as well as the CBA, and ABA. Coach Brooks and his wife, Sherry, have two children (Lexi & Chance).
