TAYLOR JENKINS
MILWAUKEE BUCKS HEAD COACH
Taylor Jenkins is the Head Coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. On April 30, 2026, Jenkins became the 19th Head Coach* in Bucks history.
Prior to joining the Bucks, Coach Jenkins was the Head Coach of the Memphis Grizzlies (2019 – 2025), where he led the team to a cumulative regular season record of 464-250, three NBA Playoff berths (2021, 2023, 2025), and made it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals (2022). Prior to joining the Grizzlies, he was an Assistant Coach for the Milwaukee Bucks (2018-2019), where he helped the team to a 60-22 regular season record and made it to the Eastern Conference Finals. During this time, he was also an Assistant Coach for the 2019 Eastern Conference NBA All-Star Team. Prior to joining the Bucks, Coach Jenkins was an Assistant Coach for the Atlanta Hawks (2013-2018). where he helped the team to four consecutive NBA Playoff berths (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) and made it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals (2016) and Eastern Conference Finals (2015). During this time, he was also an Assistant Coach for the 2015 Eastern Conference NBA All-Star Team.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Coach in the NBA, Coach Jenkins was the Head Coach of the Austin Toros in the NBA D-League (2012-2013), where he led the team to make it to the NBA D-League Playoffs Semifinals. Prior to becoming Head Coach of the Austin Toros, he was an Assistant Coach for the team (2008-2012), where he helped them make it to three NBA D-League Playoff Semifinals (2009, 2010, 2012).
Taylor Jenkins was born September 12, 1984, in Arlington, Texas. He attended Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics.
