In 2023, Tiago Splitter became an Assistant Coach for the Houston Rockets. Coach Splitter was born in Blumenau, Brazil and was drafted 28^th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He had an 18-year NBA and professional playing career with stops in San Antonio, Atlanta, Philadelphia, the NBA G League, as well as overseas in Spain. Coach Splitter and his wife, Fernanda, have one child (Sofia).
