UTAH JAZZ HEAD COACH
Will Hardy is the Head Coach of the Utah Jazz. On June 29, 2022, Hardy became in the 9th Head Coach* in Jazz history.
Prior to joining the Jazz, Coach Hardy was an Assistant Coach for the Boston Celtics under Head Coach Ime Udoka (2021-2022), where he helped the team reach their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010. Prior to joining the Celtics, he was a Basketball Operations Intern (2010-2011), an Assistant Video Coordinator (2011-2013), a Video Coordinator (2013-2015), and an Assistant Coach (2015-2021) for the San Antonio Spurs under Head Coach Gregg Popovich, where he helped the team reach nine NBA Playoff berths (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), three NBA Conference Finals appearances (2012, 2013, 2017), and winning an NBA Championship (2014).
Will Hardy was born on January 21, 1988, in Richmond, Virginia. He attended and played at Williams College where he received a bachelor’s degree in English. During Coach Hardy’s time at Williams College, he led the team to finish 30-2 and second nationally (2010). He also served on the coaching staff for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup (2019) and was an Assistant Coach for Team USA’s gold medal victory over France at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
