MARK DAIGNEAULT
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER HEAD COACH
Mark Daigneault is the Head Coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder. On November 11, 2020, Daigneault became the 4th Head Coach in Thunder history.
Prior to becoming the Head Coach of the Thunder, Coach Daigneault was an Assistant Coach for the team under head Coach Billy Donovan (2019-2020), where he helped the team reach a 44-28 regular season record and an NBA Playoff Berth. Prior to joining the Thunder, he was the Head Coach for the NBA G-League Thunder’s affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue (2014-2019), where he led the team to a cumulative regular season record of 143-107 and winning three consecutive NBA G League Division Championships appearances (2017, 2018, 2019).
Mark Daigneault was born on February 23, 1985, in Leominster, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Connecticut, where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. During Coach Daigneault’s time at the University of Connecticut, he was a student manager for the Huskies. Coach Daigneault went on to the University of Florida, where he received a master’s degree in sports management.
