TORONTO RAPTORS HEAD COACH

Darko Rajaković is the Head Coach of the Toronto Raptors. On June 10, 2023, Rajaković became the 10th Head Coach* in Raptors history.

Prior to joining the Raptors, Coach Rajaković was an Assistant Coach of the Memphis Grizzlies under Head Coach Taylor Jenkins (2020-2023), where he helped the team reach three consecutive NBA Playoffs berths (2021, 2022, 2023). Prior to his time with the Raptors, he was an Assistant Coach with the Phoenix Suns under Head Coach Monty Williams (2019-2020). Prior to joining the Suns, Coach Rajaković was an Assistant Coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder under Head Coaches Scott Brooks (2014-2015) and Billy Donovan (2015-2019), where he helped the team reach four NBA Playoff berths (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). Prior to joining the Thunder, Coach Rajaković was the Head Coach for their NBA G-League affiliate, the Tulsa 66ers (2012-2014), where he led the team to a 27-23 regular season record.

Darko Rajaković was born on February 22, 1979, in Čačak, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He attended Belgrade Basketball Academy, where he received a degree in basketball coaching and Alfa BK University, where he received a degree in sports management. Rajaković began his coaching career at 16 years old with the Borac Cacak Youth Team (1996-1999) and then was the Head Coach of the U20 and U18 teams of Red Star Belgrade (1999-2007).
