LIONEL CHALMERS
ORLANDO MAGIC ASSISTANT COACH
In 2019, Lionel Chalmers became an Assistant Coach for the Orlando Magic. He was born in Albany, New York and attended and played at Xavier University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications. Coach Chalmers was selected in the second round by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2004 NBA Draft and went on to also play professionally overseas in Greece, Spain, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, and France.
