In 2022, Lionel Hollins became an Assistant Coach for Houston Rockets. Coach Hollins was born in Arkansas City, Kansas and played for and graduated from Arizona State University. He was drafted 6^th overall in the 1975 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers and had a 10-year NBA playing career with stops in Portland, Philadelphia, San Diego, Detroit, and Houston. Coach Hollins has four children (Austin, Lamont, Jackie, & Anthony).
