In 2022, Tyrone Corbin became an Assistant Coach for the Charlotte Hornets. Corbin was born in Columbia, South Carolina and played for and graduated from DePaul University. He was selected 35^th overall in the 1985 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He had a 16-year NBA playing career with stops in San Antonio, Cleveland, Phoenix, Timberwolves, Utah, Atlanta, Sacramento, Miami, and Toronto. Coach Tyrone and his wife, Dante, have two children (Tyjha & Tyrell).
